Use SQL to connect to and retrieve data from multiple sources. Transition existing reports from Business Objects to Tableau. Maintain and update existing reports in both Business Objects and Tableau. Manage and update UDAs (User Developed Applications) created with Excel VBA macros and Tableau. Retire or re-platform outdated UDAs with modern solutions. Present reports and insights to non-technical audiences effectively. Create new UDAs using Tableau or Excel VBA macros for quick solutions, with plans to eventually replace them with fully developed IT solutions. Utilize Python for data analysis, connections, visualization, and file management. Required Skills/Technologies: Proficiency in Tableau for reporting and visualization. Strong knowledge of Python for data preparation, analysis, connections, and visualization, with experience managing files and folders. oEssential Python Libraries: Pandas, Numpy, Pyodbc, Matplotlib, Os, Pathlib, and other common libraries (math, datetime, json, collections, etc.) oPreferred Libraries: SciPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, NLTK, TextBlob Advanced Excel skills, particularly for data preparation (UDA assets). SQL for data retrieval and management (non-UDA assets). Strong presentation skills for delivering insights to non-technical audiences. Effective requirement gathering and documentation abilities. Preferred Skills/Technologies: Experience with ETL tools like Informatica or DataStage. Certifications in Tableau or Business Objects (BO). Experience working with Snowflake. Background in Staff Operations.
