The initial contract will end on 6/30/25, aligned with our fiscal year, with the possibility of renewal for the period 7/1/25 - 6/30/26. Job Overview: The Oracle Cloud Architect is responsible for the design, deployment, and support of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and applications. This role involves imizing priorities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes. The Cloud Architect understands the critical importance of aligning technology solutions with business goals, objectives, and processes. They provide leadership, strategic analysis, and design expertise to develop technology solutions that meet business needs while adhering to architectural governance and standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of cloud solutions and collaboration across business units. Develop architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and strategies to guide cloud adion and integration. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, and provide support for incident management and disaster recovery initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. At least five years of experience in Oracle Cloud-related fields, including infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, and security. Proven experience implementing Oracle Cloud Fusion as a Cloud Architect. Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their application to evolving business models and operations. Knowledge of product management, agile methodologies, and the ability to advise agile teams on risk, impact, and architectural debt considerations. Experience in creating and implementing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps. Skills: Expertise in cloud computing concepts and architecture. Proficiency in deploying, managing, and imizing cloud services. Deep understanding of security, compliance, and best practices in cloud environments. Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Familiarity with automation and scripting tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Strong understanding of networking, storage, and database services in cloud environments. Data-driven with knowledge of various aspects of Oracle Cloud architecture, including integration, security, and networking. Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, etc.). Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL frameworks. Proficient in modeling languages such as UML and ArchiMate. Experience with industry-standard IT controls and best practices. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences. Core Competencies: Ability to navigate organizational dynamics effectively and tactfully. Skilled in influencing and guiding stakeholders in decision-making processes. Strong ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proficient in balancing long-term strategic goals with short-term project needs.
