Job Title: Jira Administrator Location : Bellevue, WA / Parsippany, New Jersey Work Mode : Onsite Skills: Jira, devops and Confluence Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Jira Administrator with expertise in Confluence to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence, ensuring effective collaboration, project tracking, and process automation across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Administer and configure Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence to support business needs. Customize Jira workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, and issue types. Implement and manage Confluence spaces, templates, and macros to enhance documentation and collaboration. Integrate Jira and Confluence with third-party tools and plugins for enhanced functionality. Perform system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance tasks. Develop and maintain technical documentation related to Jira and Confluence configurations and best practices. Provide end-user training and support for Jira and Confluence tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions using Atlassian products. Monitor system performance and optimize configurations for scalability and reliability. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Jira Administrator with hands-on expertise in Confluence. Strong knowledge of Jira configurations including workflows, screens, fields, and permission schemes. Experience with Confluence administration, space management, and macro utilization. Familiarity with Jira Service Management and ITSM practices is a plus. Ability to create dashboards, filters, and reports to support project tracking and metrics. Proficiency in scripting tools such as Groovy (ScriptRunner) is an advantage. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
