The ideal candidate will have experience with performance testing tools, scripting, execution, bottleneck analysis, and reporting. The role involves working closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure applications meet performance requirements under various loads. Key Responsibilities: Performance Testing & Execution: Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts. Conduct load testing, stress testing, endurance testing, and scalability testing. Utilize tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Neoload, or k6 for test execution. Perform API performance testing using Postman, JMeter, or similar tools. Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Analyze application response times, throughput, CPU/memory usage, and scalability. Identify bottlenecks, slow queries, memory leaks, and code inefficiencies. Work with APM tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Splunk to monitor system performance. Collaboration & Optimization: Work closely with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to fine-tune applications. Suggest performance improvements, caching strategies, and database optimizations. Automate performance tests within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
