Experience with database fundamentals such as data models, schemas, normalization, and indexing. Strong experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes. Proficiency in writing scripts for database automation and performance monitoring. Hands-on experience with on-premises to cloud migration, specifically Microsoft Azure. Strong knowledge of MS Internet Information Services (IIS), server administration, and web application deployment. Knowledge of SQL Server encryption, database security standards, and industry best practices. Experience with SSIS package creation, troubleshooting, and monitoring. Familiarity with Power, database source control, and continuous integration tools. Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to best practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Snowflake. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of management. Education Required: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
