| From: Mike, kanap [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] The DevSecOps Specialist supports a family of product infrastructure and interfaces that help our users analyze data in one of the largest administrative claims databases in the world. Sample DevOps for technologies that may include REST, JSON, Docker, Kubernetes, and many others in a FISMA Moderate security environment. Your experience and good judgement will be invaluable as you help our team build the tools and processes that bridge the gap between Development, Security and Operations. Candidate should be able to work in fast-paced multi-disciplinary environments. A professional in this role is able to adapt existing methods and procedures (or create new ones) to assess alternative solutions to highly complex systems; understand the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals and implement corresponding technical solutions; and use considerable judgment to determine solutions and solve problems. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor, with frequent interaction with peers. May interact with client staff and/or management, as well as internal program management. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Special focus on : Jenkins CI/CD pipelines (CloudBees Core) and Terraform IaC development for AWS. Job Responsibilities: Support SAFe DevSecOps process and methodology in a large federal IT program Install, configure, patch and secure software and systems Design, set up, monitor, and enhance Continuous Delivery pipelines Build infrastructure as code in an AWS environment Maximize availability, reliability, recoverability, and performance of environments Supply architectural and design guidance, including trade-off analysis, to stakeholders Required Qualifications: Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent technical skills as gained through at least 7 years of progressive experience. Experience with Infrastructure Automation using Terraform or comparable tools. Minimum 5 year of experience with code repository management, commit and build, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration through pipeline creation, and automated deployment and management using AWS DevOps, Jenkins, Github, SonarQube or comparable tools. 5+ years of experience with implementation of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns 2+ years of experience working in an Agile DevOps environment 3+ years of experience with AWS including CloudFormation, EKS, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CLI. Minimum 5 years of experience with scripting using Linux Shell, Python, YAML, JavaScript or comparable. Demonstrated ability to serve as the escalation point for complex issues, problems and solutions. Ability to guide and assist others as a subject matter expert and mentor. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the operational environments at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is highly preferred. Experience with Amazon Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Inspector, AWS Config, JFrog, and X-Ray. Ability to work on the full technology stack Experience with Hasura, Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Splunk, VictorOps, Snowflake, NewRelic Experience with Containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or comparable tools.
