Write and modify PL/SQL programs based on the requirements to extract data, integration, schedule jobs, application enhancements. Production support with specific emphasis on the development of changes related to data bound queries, SQL tuning, pl/sql enhancements to get improved performance. Develop data interfaces, data transfer, relational diagrams, scheduling, and application code management. Collaborate development activities with other team members. Create technical specification and other documents as required. * Design, develop and write PL/SQL code and enhance application code, tune SQL code to get better performance. Developing relational data models and designs * Identify issues with the application data, analyze, apply, and provide emergency release and production support. Review application server issues and provide resolution. * Write data exchange interfaces, job scheduling * Update quality center defects/enhancements including test steps; code changes to build the knowledge base. *Collaborate development and integration activities with other team members. Work with business groups, internal-external team to understand requirement to write efficient system programs. * Provide support for production application. * Good oral and written communication skills are required. * Applicants must have strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously in aggressive environment including off hours support. * Applicants must have the ability to assess the impact of software upgrades and other environmental changes. * Knowledge in software package installation, change management, and testing is preferable. * Candidate should be able to translate functional requirement, build relational model and transfer relational model into technical design and application code. * Knowledge of the scripting language is highly desirable. * Candidate should be an excellent team player and independently able to research and provide resolution for any production support.
