Responsibilities include planning, designing, developing, and testing software products for web-based applications while ensuring data integrity. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain database code objects, including stored procedures and views. Collaborate with full-stack developers to ensure adherence to database standards and best practices. Create and maintain database code scripts for data validation and management. Conduct detailed testing and code reviews of database objects and scripts. Write and maintain clear documentation and specifications for database objects. Optimize SQL code for improved performance and resolve SQL code performance issues. Design and enhance data models for new and existing applications. Occasionally provide support for critical systems outside of regular hours. Communicate regularly with team leads on tasks and project statuses. Maintain and expand knowledge of database design principles and capabilities. Qualifications Bachelors degree in IT or related field. At least 4 years of IT experience in analysis, design, and programming of database objects. Advanced knowledge of T-SQL for coding stored procedures and scripts. Strong understanding of relational database concepts. Extensive experience with SAP (formerly Sybase) Adaptive Server Enterprise. Strong problem-solving and SQL optimization skills.
