Job Title: Report developer Location: White Plains NY --onsite 5 days a week Salary - Year on full time Interview: Phone/ Skype-2Rounds LinkedIn Must have Job Description: Employees Role: Report Developer The Report Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting critical business reports based on data stored across multiple business applications within the firm. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document reporting requirements, ensuring they align with business needs. The Report Developer will translate these business requirements into detailed specifications, which will be used to create the necessary reports and dashboards, often integrating data from multiple sources. Wage/Hour Classification: Exempt Reporting To: Director of Software Development. Qualifications: 1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent technical training from an accredited institution. 2. Travel: Occasional travel may be required for business purposes. Employees must possess a valid drivers license issued by the state in which they work and maintain a satisfactory driving record. 3. Work Experience: a. At least 3 years of experience in report development and analytics. b. Proven experience in requirements analysis and documentation, working closely with users. c. Solid understanding of logical and physical data modeling concepts, both relational and dimensional. d. Background in healthcare and clinical workflow. e. Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL programming/scripting. Knowledge of the software development life cycle is preferred. f. Experience with Analysis Services. g. Expertise in data cube development and reporting. h. Competence in using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). i. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. j. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. k. Experience working in project environments involving both internal and external teams. l. Familiarity with data integration issues, including validation and cleaning, as well as complex data structures. m. Thorough understanding of complex data models for healthcare and clinical business systems, along with the associated processes. EOE/M/F/D/V Essential Job Responsibilities: a. Collaborate with managers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, modify, and generate reports using data from multiple proprietary and commercial applications, including SQL Server databases. b. Work with department heads and IT staff to develop and enhance clinical and business intelligence solutions. c. Ensure the availability and maintenance of existing reports and dashboards, providing support to both external and internal users as needed. d. Design and implement best practices and guidelines for generating both standard and ad-hoc reports. Other Responsibilities: 1. Ensures all HIPAA requirements are adhered to. 2.
