Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, product managers, and developers, to understand banking system requirements and user stories. Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on banking regulations, compliance standards, and business requirements. Execute test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and security of banking applications, including online banking platforms, mobile banking apps, and internal banking systems. Identify, document, and track defects found during testing using designated bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with bank employees and end-users to gather feedback and ensure that banking applications meet their needs and expectations. Work closely with development teams and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Communicate test results, findings, and recommendations to project stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and concise manner, highlighting any risks or compliance issues. Participate in regulatory audits and compliance reviews, providing evidence of testing activities and ensuring adherence to banking regulations and industry standards. Training the users based on your knowledge learned from the UAT phase. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on user acceptance testing within the banking industry. Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations, compliance standards (e.g., online banking, CMS etc.) is a big plus. Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for banking applications and systems. Familiarity with testing tools such as HP ALM, IBM Rational ClearQuest, or similar bug tracking and test management systems used in banking environments. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on compliance and risk management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
