This role demands strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), API development, and cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GCP services, scalable API development, and an in-depth understanding of manufacturing and automotive domains. Key Responsibilities: 1. API Development: Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable RESTful APIs on GCP. Build APIs to support real-time and batch data ingestion from various platforms. Implement best practices for API security, authentication, and authorization. Document APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger standards. 2. Cloud Architecture: Design and implement cloud-native architectures using GCP services such as Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub. Optimize resources for performance and cost-efficiency. 3. Data Management: Develop real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines using Pub/Sub and Dataflow. Leverage GCP tools like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL for analytics and storage. 4. Infrastructure Setup: Set up and manage cloud environments, including IAM policies and VPCs. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager. 5. CI/CD Automation: Establish CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build or GitHub Actions. Automate API deployment, testing, and resource provisioning. 6. Security and Compliance: Ensure robust cloud security with IAM, encryption, and audit logging. Maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). 7. Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Required Expertise: Experience: 11+ years in total, with 5+ years in GCP and API development. Key Skills: Java, Microservices, REST API, GCP services, OAuth2, JWT. Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, Java, Node.js, or Go. Preferred Qualifications: Google Cloud Professional certifications, hybrid/multi-cloud experience, DevOps knowledge.
