The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data protection and privacy laws, with a strong background in compliance and project management. If you have a passion for navigating complex regulatory frameworks and ensuring data protection best practices, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations (including GDPR and local data privacy laws). Assess complex data processing scenarios and identify potential risks. Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies. Provide tailored compliance advice and recommendations to meet organizational needs. Oversee and manage data protection projects from planning to successful implementation. Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and strengthen data governance and security practices. Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Senior Compliance Officer at a large financial firm. At least 10 years of experience in the financial industry. Bachelors degree required; relevant certifications are a plus. In-depth knowledge of data protection and privacy laws (GDPR and local regulations). Strong understanding of data processing systems, security technologies, and data governance practices. Exceptional analytical skills and ability to assess complex data protection scenarios. Excellent communication and consultative skills. Proven ability to offer practical, actionable advice tailored to specific organizational needs. Strong project management skills with experience managing data protection projects from inception to implementation. Looking forward to work with you!
