There will be a few CODING EXERCISES as a part of the interviewing process!!! The client is a financial services firm and as such, its vital that candidates can discuss and demonstrate understanding of data manipulation and logic. They will need to be able to discuss data sets, parameters, and how to deal with poorly structured data sets. The client has indicated that they are open to less experienced candidates, but that they require people who demonstrate resourcefulness and self-direction!!! MAIN SKILLS: JavaScript (Advanced Level!) and Document Object Model DOM Scripting (Advanced Level!) POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: Degree or certification in Web Development, Digital Programming, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in a related skillset. 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years of experience in Digital/Web development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation, the JavaScript object model, Object-Oriented concepts, design patterns, coding standards, and performance improvements. Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and related technologies. Experience with TypeScript is a big PLUS.
