This role involves desktop and mobility troubleshooting, IT project support, and collaboration with global IT teams and third-party vendors. The candidate will ensure IT services meet established service levels, provide technical expertise, and support desktop/mobility environments with a strong focus on user satisfaction and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshooting and Support: Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop and mobility issues. Mobility Queue Management: Manage incoming mobility-related tickets and meet SLAs. Hardware/Software Installation: Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, mobile devices, and related hardware/software. Project Management: Lead hardware/software rollouts and refresh projects. Performance Optimization: Assess and implement performance upgrades, such as memory installations. Team Collaboration: Provide technical guidance to team members and work with global IT service desks and vendors. Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain logging and reporting procedures for desktop/mobility operations. Vendor Relations: Interface with third-party vendors for equipment support and procurement. Subject Matter Expertise: Support other IT teams as a subject matter expert when needed. Policy and Process Evaluation: Assist in evaluating and improving IT policies and procedures. Primary Qualifications: Associate degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3 years of IT desktop support experience. Strong technical skills in desktop/mobility troubleshooting and support. Experience working in a global company environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels. Desirable Skills: Knowledge of DevOps, Python, Testing, Linux, or React JS. Experience with software distribution tools and packages. Familiarity with desktop/mobility performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
