The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python programming, SSD storage domains, and firmware validation. This role requires a deep understanding of storage interfaces (e.g., PCIe/NVMe, SATA, SAS), failure analysis, and NAND flash technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, triaging issues, and ensuring the quality and reliability of storage solutions. Key Responsibilities: Programming Expertise: Develop and execute test cases and tools using Python for firmware validation. Failure Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for SSD firmware issues in validation and field scenarios, particularly in embedded environments. Storage Interfaces: Utilize knowledge of PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS protocols for storage interface testing and validation. NAND Flash Expertise: Work with NAND flash and non-volatile storage technologies to ensure high performance and reliability. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues under tight deadlines and shifting priorities. Independent Work: Operate with minimal supervision, taking initiative to prioritize and manage workload effectively. Primary Qualifications: Programming Experience: Extensive Python programming expertise. Storage Domain Knowledge: Proven experience in the SSD and storage industries. Failure Analysis Skills: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with failure analysis and triaging field/embedded firmware issues. Storage Interfaces: Familiarity with storage technologies such as PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS. NAND Flash: Deep understanding of NAND flash and other non-volatile storage technologies.
