This is a fully remote position where youll work with a fantastic team and engage in cutting-edge technology for business. About this Role: This is a Lead Software Engineer/Jr. Architect position responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Salesforce Service Cloud to fulfill our Research & Consulting Delivery strategy. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Product Owners to understand requirements and provide scalable solutions, adhering to Salesforce best practices. Perform hands-on solution design, proof-of-concepts, development, and testing tasks in support of implementation activities. Work with a cross-functional SCRUM team to maintain and enhance the Salesforce Platform using Agile methodology. Research and identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce best practices and guidelines to improve system productivity, scalability, and monitoring. Participate in code reviews, peer inspections, and the creation of technical designs and specifications. Maintain familiarity with system scope and project objectives to ensure the design, build, and testing of a robust system. Effectively communicate issues and concerns to the project team, including development, project management, and QA. Apply strong analytical skills to formulate problems and solutions in both business and technical terms. Demonstrate an understanding of Incident and Problem Management with a focus on root cause resolution. Support Salesforce DevOps, branching strategies, and multiple environments. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, with a solid understanding of key SFDC design and architectural concepts, as well as the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application. Experience leading a team of software engineers. Expertise in integrating Salesforce with other systems using REST, SOAP, platform events, and/or middleware. A strong understanding of Salesforce DevOps processes, branching strategies, and multi-environment support. Proficiency in software development and object-oriented design fundamentals. Salesforce development experience, including proficiency in coding with APEX (classes, triggers, batch processes, and web services), LWC, and Aura. Experience with Visual Studio Code (VS Code). In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud. Strong knowledge of Salesforce applications, including configuration, workflows, and database design. Ability to design applications that consider governor limits and scale appropriately. Strong team player with excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Salesforce.com platform developer certification is a plus.
