Cloud Integration: Implement DataStage workflows in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (P) to enable hybrid data architectures. Data Pipelines: Integrate data from multiple sources, including on-premise and cloud databases, ensuring seamless data flow and transformations. Database Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for data extraction and loading. Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL pipelines and cloud-based solutions for speed and scalability. Automation and Monitoring: Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (e.g., Python, scripting) and set up monitoring processes for error detection and performance tracking. Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, cloud engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for workflows, configurations, and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: DataStage Expertise: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage for ETL development. Cloud Knowledge: Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or P) and its integration with DataStage. Database Experience: Proficiency in working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Scripting Skills: Strong scripting abilities in Python, scripting, or similar languages. Data Integration: Deep understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time/near-real-time data processing. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot ETL and cloud integration issues effectively. Remote Work Experience: Ability to work independently and collaborate in a distributed team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of data streaming tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub. Experience with modern cloud data solutions like Snowflake, Big Query, or Redshift. IBM or cloud certifications in DataStage, AWS, Azure, or P. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for ETL workflows.
