Cloud DBA, Enterprise Systems Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid Work Schedule) Duration : 6+month About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Cloud DBA, Enterprise Systems to join our team and oversee the day-to-day monitoring, management, and remediation of our diverse cloud database ecosystem on AWS. In this role, you will support live production databases and collaborate with development teams on schema design, access patterns, and broader database strategies. Your focus will be on optimizing performance, ensuring cost efficiency, maintaining data security, and executing robust backup and recovery strategies.. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications): 5+ years of DBA experience, with 5+ years on AWS. Expertise in database design and optimization, particularly for PostgreSQL, Redshift, and DynamoDB. Proficiency in SQL, backup and recovery processes, and database performance tuning. Hands-on experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS). Familiarity with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch. Knowledge of data security, auditing, and access administration best practices. Experience with hybrid work schedules, including remote and onsite work at our Nashville office. Authorization to work in the United States. Ability to work a 7.5-hour business day with flexibility for extended hours when necessary. Nice to Haves: Experience with CRM, Finance, or accounting systems. Knowledge of Agile, SAFE, Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies. Familiarity with ETL solutions (e.g., AWS Glue, Lambda functions). Expertise with dashboard platforms (e.g., AWS QuickSight, Google Looker, Tableau, PowerBI). Experience with big data technologies like Hive and Spark. AWS Certification is a strong plus.
