Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance C++ and C-based applications for capital markets and fixed-income trading platforms. Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions. Build and optimize systems supporting front-office functions like trading, pricing, and risk management, as well as back-office operations such as settlement, clearing, and reconciliation. Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions tailored to business needs. Develop and integrate APIs for seamless communication across internal and external systems. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain the highest quality standards. Ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team. Qualifications: 5+ years of professional experience in C++ and C development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and multithreading. Financial services experience is highly desirable, particularly in capital markets or fixed-income domains. Proficiency in front-office operations (trading, pricing, and risk) and back-office operations (settlement, clearing, and reporting). Solid understanding of fixed-income products, trade lifecycles, and post-trade processes. Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and familiarity with NoSQL databases. Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, TIBCO, or similar technologies. Exposure to high-performance computing and real-time systems development. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences. Preferred Skills: Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks within financial services. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation and tooling. Exposure to modern development methodologies and agile practices.
