The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications by conducting thorough manual testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development team to improve product performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements. Ensure all reported bugs are addressed and resolved effectively. Verify fixes and perform regression testing. Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA perspective. Create and maintain test documentation. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed. Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and overall user experience. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience in manual software testing. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience testing web and mobile applications. Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation. Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman. Understanding of automation testing concepts.
