Work Location: Washington, DC/East Coast/Remote VISA: US Citizen, Green Card Permanent Resident Key Skills: cyber, threat, intel., splunk, analyst1, virus total, sir Certification: 1+ required; cissp, cisa, cism, giac, Candidates must have lived in the US for at least (5) years and can't have been outside the US in the last (5) years more than (6) months cumulative. Special Skills: 5+ years exp., bs/ba, threat, cyber intel., splunk, analyst1, virus total, sir, monitoring cyber events Cyber Threat Analyst III Identifies and assesses the capabilities and activities of cyber criminals or foreign intelligence entities; produces finds to help initialize or support law enforcement and counterintelligence investigations or activities. Duties: Identify and develop threat intelligence reports from all available open sources. Maintain threat indicators within the threat intelligence platform. Experience with Splunk, Analyst1, Virus Total, SIR, and other relevant tools. Willingness to learn new tools adapted by organization and take training as needed. Implement and support standard procedures for incident response. Interface with Business Unit Information System Security Officers and Incident Response Teams. Monitor cyber security events, provide information of suspicious activity, and assist other teams as needed to provide threat intelligence information. Provide support to contract Program Manager, as necessary. Effectively communicates technical information to non-technical audiences. Influence others to comply with policies (threat intelligence and travel) and conform to standards and best practices. EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 5-7 years of experience with security operations and incident response EDUCATION: Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required) One or more of the following Certification(s): CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE.
