This role involves working with both the SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) module and the Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) modules. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial data and implementing SAP solutions to ensure compliance, improve revenue recognition processes, and optimize financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Implementation and Configuration : Configure and implement SAP RAR module to automate revenue recognition processes and ensure accurate reporting. Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements for revenue recognition and accounting processes. Integrate RAR with other SAP modules like SD (Sales and Distribution), FI (Financial Accounting), and CO (Controlling). Support & Maintenance : Provide ongoing support for SAP RAR and FICO functionality, resolving issues related to revenue accounting and financial reporting. Maintain and update RAR configurations as per evolving business requirements or changes in accounting standards (such as IFRS 15 or ASC 606). Financial Accounting & Controlling (FICO) : Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper integration between SAP RAR and the FICO module, ensuring seamless flow of financial data. Analyze and resolve financial discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting within the FICO module. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all revenue recognition activities are completed correctly. Data Analysis & Reporting : Generate and analyze revenue recognition reports and financial statements using SAPs reporting tools. Support ad-hoc reporting requests and assist in financial audits, ensuring compliance with both internal and external accounting standards. Training & Knowledge Transfer : Provide training and documentation to end-users on SAP RAR and FICO processes. Ensure knowledge transfer to junior team members and support continuous learning. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience with SAP RAR and FICO modules, including implementation and support. In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards (IFRS, ASC 606). Strong understanding of SAP FI/CO integration, including configuration and troubleshooting. Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: SAP Certification in RAR and/or FICO. Experience with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, or PS). Familiarity with data migration processes and tools. Knowledge of tax and compliance-related issues in revenue accounting. Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. MBA or Masters in a relevant field (optional).
