Role: Public Cloud VPC Service Engineer Location: Atlanta, GA- Hybrid (3 - 4 days a week) Rate: $45-47/hr on C2C Max Note: Locals Preferred Knowledge on AWS and GCP Foundation: 1. Logical Design of a VPC and services within the VPC 2. IP Address management and reservations 3. IP Subnetting 4. Logical Traffic flow (VPC Routing) 5. Build a VPC 6. Deploying multiple Subnets within a VPC, split across multiple AZs 7. Create Route Table 8. Deploying VM(s) with single interface 9. Deploying VM(s) with multiple interfaces 10. Deploying AWS based service that resides in your VPC and takes available IP addresses. Ex: EKS, DMS, Endpoints, etc 11. Security Group basics 12. Role of the NAT GW 13. Role of the Internet GW 14. Elastic IP addresses Intermediate: 1. Role of Transit Gateway 2. Transit Gateway Attachments 3. Transit Gateway Routing Tables 4. Role of Transit VPC 5. Direct Connect 6. Direct Connect VIFs 7. Virtual Gateways and VPNs 8. Security Group(s), which is the correct one to update 9. VPC Endpoints 10. Static routes 11. Asymmetric Routing 12. Stateful networking Advanced: 1. Dynamic routing (BGP) 2. Manually tracing datapath by looking at route tables on VMs, AWS Route Tables, Transit Gateway Route Tables, Firewall Route Tables, Peering Router Route tables, etc 3. Routing and High-Availability at peering centers and between regions 4. Paloalto Firewalls in Tranist VPC 5. Paloalto Firewalls as VPN endpoints 6. Evaluating Security Rules on Paloalto firewalls 7.
