[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Facets Tester Remote Contract Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facets Tester to join our team. As a Facets Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and functionality of applications within the Facets system. You will perform testing on various modules of Facets to validate system performance, data accuracy, and the functionality of business processes related to healthcare claims, member benefits, and enrollment. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications. Ensure the test coverage is thorough across all Facets modules (e.g., claims, membership, provider, benefits). Test Execution: Execute manual and automated tests on the Facets system to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Verify data integrity and ensure correct workflows in different modules of the Facets application. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM). Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing on existing features to ensure that recent changes do not negatively impact the system. Continuously maintain and update test cases for new releases and updates. System Integration and UAT Support: Support integration testing with other systems and applications. Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure that business requirements are met. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on product functionality. Participate in team meetings, providing status updates and testing results. Reporting and Documentation: Generate detailed test reports and communicate results to stakeholders. Maintain documentation for all test procedures and test cases. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a tester in healthcare IT systems, specifically Facets. Familiarity with the Facets platform, its modules, and workflows (claims, member benefits, provider management, etc.). Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, TestRail). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, or similar). Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
