Industry background: Banking Knowledge of software development required: SDLC and agile software development Must have classical experience as a technical, not business, systems analyst, and experience with managing releases in service now. Experience and knowledge of microservice architecture and api's, and identity access management, SAFe and PI planning experience. ***Need of a strong system analyst, individuals who are geared towards system requirements rather than business of the house. An analyst within technology and IT*** Roles and Responsibilities: Coordinate with stakeholders, requirement gathering and elicitation, release planning, potential running agile ceremonies in some capacity, project management, creation of technical diagrams (process diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc.). Technical User story creation using Gherkin. Must Have Technical Skills: (Min 5years is all of the below skills) Agile Development & Planning experience 5 yrs Understanding of Microservices & APIs requirement definition 5 yrs Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) 5 yrs Sequence Diagrams 5 yrs Software/System Requirement Definition 5 yrs Jira for executing Agile projects 5 yrs Project Management 5 yrs Technical Writing 5 yrs Stakeholder Management Flex Skills Technical analysis Dynatrace Postman Previous development experience. Identity Access Management (IAM) Safe Agile Bitbucket familiarity and navigation Gherkin Confluence Visio Flow Charting & Diagramming User Story Writing Software Development lifecycle experience Backlog Refinement experience Process Flow Diagrams Requirements gathering and analysis Education: Bachelor's degree required in a technical field or business with an emphasis in technology Any certifications related to agile or requirement elicitation, safe certifications Screening Questions: What is the value of a business systems analyst within an organization How and why would you use diagramming as a tool for gathering the technical requirements of a new service capability What do you enjoy about working in technology ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary: The main function is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. Responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations. Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation. Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs.
