We have an immediate opening for the below position with one of our premium clients Job Title: Oracle Database Developer with Unix, Python scripting Experience Work Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94085 (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Must Have: Strong Experience in Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix, Python Framework/Tools: SQL Developer, PyCharm, Visual Studio Code, Postman, DevOps, Pandas framework Responsibilities: Participate in Business and System requirements sessions. Hands on with the technologies listed above Coordinate and manage offshore tea Requirements elicitation and translation to technical specifications. Interact with clients to elicit architectural and non-functional / functional requirements like performance, scalability, reliability, availability, maintainability Work with multiple teams and determining solution to resolve the functional / behavioural issues in the applications. Prepare mock-ups and design for applications. Review the production support issues assigned and do due diligence troubleshooting, root-cause analysis etc. Suggest solutions, fixes and workarounds and implement them keeping all the stakeholders informed. Manage the incident process to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow ups are done in a timely manner. Take ownership of issue reported by the customer and ensure that it is resolved quickly & effectively or escalated to the next level with relevant data as needed in a timely manner. Ensure compliance to the End-to-End process for Incident Management and any Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Set the right expectations with the customer and keep communication flowing at appropriate intervals. Focus on improving the overall customer experience through integration of past learning and usage of best practices. Interact with internal team, including offshore, in undertaking onsite-specific activities of the project. Understand the requirements (both functional and non-functional) by going through the specifications and inputs from Business Analysts. Understand application architecture document and seek inputs from the architecture / design team to understand the overall architecture in order to provide deliverables that are in line with architectural requirements. Anchor proof of concept (POC) development to validate proposed solution and reduce technical risk.
