The Client who has the DB2 Data Engineer role might be upset with us at this time, as the interview yesterday was a complete failure. From the feedback we received, the candidate we screened and submitted was not the candidate that interviewed. We had 2 other candidates previously submitted but the Client has not provided any comment to us at this time. The JD for this position is attached below along with the resume of the candidate , which the Client saw merit in prior to the interview. You can use this as an example of what they reacted to and set up the interview. Please note the screening questions need to be asked not sent to any potential candidate. We want their responses , not a "Googled" answer. JOB DESCRIPTION Required skills: Develop and maintain various database applications on the IBM iseries platform, utilizing dynamic SQL, temporary and temporal tables, convert RPG code to sql stored procedures, commitment control, procedures, table functions, UDFs, performance tuning, logging and exception handling. Expert SQL stored proceduresdevelopment experience in db2 IBM iseries platform. Please note that this is a MUST. If they just have embedded SQL and RPG experience, Client will not move them to an interview.
