TOP 2 MUST HAVES: Professional certification from VMWare (VCP, VCAP, DCV, etc.) vSphere infrastructure 6.x/7.x version TECHNICAL SKILLS Support and operate vSphere infrastructure 6.x/7.x version Experience with HW support tools like HP OneView Scripting experience PowerShell, PowerCLI, bash, perl or python highly desirable (for automation) Experience with methodologies as ITIL Good understanding of networking and storage concepts GENERAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE Support and evolve vSphere infrastructure - 4-5 years Good understanding of storage concepts - 1-2 years Good understanding of networking concepts - 4-5 years Experience with HW support tools like HP OneView - 1-3 years Familiarity with vRealize Automation and Orchestration - 1-3 years Professional certification from VMWare (VCP, VCAP, DCV) - Yes or No Working knowledge of vRealize Operations - 1-3 years JOB DESCRIPTION Building and supporting VMWare platform and perform infrastructure management activities related to the VMWare builds. Assist with standardization and consolidation of the different environments. Perform supporting activities for Dev, Test and Production systems. . This position requires on-site presence from day1. Should be able to support production on-call on a rotational basis. May require to be on-site during weekend for deployment activities.
