https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2145540&uid= Title: UFT Architect Consultant Location: New York NY (Onsite) Job Type: 12 Months Contract Job Summary: Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable and efficient test automation frameworks using UFT. Define and implement best practices for test automation and continuous integration (CI/CD). Lead and mentor the test automation team in UFT scripting, VBScript, and test automation strategies. Collaborate with developers, testers, and business analysts to ensure automation coverage for all critical application functionalities. Integrate UFT with test management tools (e.g., ALM, JIRA, Azure DevOps). Optimize and maintain existing UFT test scripts to improve efficiency and maintainability. Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions. Provide expertise in API testing, GUI testing, and database validation through automation. Ensure compatibility of automated tests across different environments, browsers, and devices. Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on UFT/QTP. Proficiency in VBScript, SQL, and working with databases. Strong understanding of software testing principles (e.g., functional, regression, smoke, integration testing). Experience integrating UFT with test management and defect tracking tools. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, etc.). Hands-on experience with API testing and automating backend services. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Micro Focus ALM/QC or other test management tools. Exposure to Selenium, LeanFT, or other automation tools. Understanding of Agile methodologies and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks. Certification in UFT, ISTQB, or related fields is a plus.
