The role of a Senior Storage & Backup Engineer is to design, implement, manage and maintain storage solutions in Williams-Sonoma Inc. You will be providing Level 3 support to Storage and Backup environment. You will provide administration and engineering support on multiple OS platforms in a multi-vendor environment, while working closely with architecture, application development, database, server and networking teams. In addition, you will continuously participate in developing, defining and simplifying processes to improve services. For new initiatives or critical upgrades, you will work closely with Business/Application Development & Engineering teams during project analysis and design phases and with the Operations team during the implementation and post go-live support. | Project Description | | Duties/Day to Day Overview | Design, implement, manage, and maintain storage solutions Leads and participate in installation and configuration activities of storage and backup systems.
