Hello Please share Updated resume to divya.c@itechus.net Role : Test Architect (Locomotive or Automotive) Location- Erie, PA (Onsite) Type : Contract Technical skills:- Automation Testing , Test Architect , Manual testing, locomotive domain ,HITL, Matlab# Description: Education: Bachelors in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering Review design requirements from system-level and subsystem-level design efforts to understand the design intent and ensure testability. Use interaction matrices to identify relevant test cases/scenarios and document them in a test plan. Identify types of testing required, including desktop verification, software-in-the-loop (SITL), hardware-in-the-loop (HITL), locomotive testing, and pilot fleet operation. Provide testing duration estimates for planning processes. Thoroughly document all work outputs. Conduct design reviews for test plans and procedures, as well as review test results. Create, document, and analyze complex test cases, providing feedback and recommendations for product or design changes. Prepare and present technical results to internal and external customers as needed. Prepare invention disclosures to protect technologies offering competitive advantages. Drive process improvements to enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, and time-to-market for development efforts. Participate in final system integration and validation to identify functional issues. Collaborate with other engineering teams to define, document, analyze, and interpret test results for products, systems, components, or modifications. Engage in simplification and productivity initiatives, including automation of testing. Required Skills & Experience: Testing & Validation Experience: 5-10 years of experience in testing and validation using HITL, SITL, and system-level testing. Control System Knowledge: Experience developing test procedures for control software, electrical and electronic equipment, systems, and components. Communication Protocols: Strong understanding of control design principles, including various communication protocols (e.g., Serial RS232/422, CAN, Ethernet). Technical Tools & Automation: Experience with SysML modeling tools such as MagicDraw and Doors. Hands-on experience with Simulink testing. Writing Python scripts and using NI-LabVIEW or standard automation tools. Locomotive/Automotive Industry Experience: Experience testing in areas such as: Engine control Traction control Battery management systems Database & Control System Knowledge: Understanding of locomotive control systems and database management systems supporting complex control systems. Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills to work effectively with different teams. Hands-on Testing Experience: Ability to work in test labs and on locomotives, conducting real-world testing scenarios. Additional Requirements: Ability to lead and participate in team activities. Analytical skills for problem-solving and process improvements. Experience in PPT presentations for business meetings.
