Description A Cloud DBA, Enterprise Systems will oversee day-to-day monitoring, management, and remediation of the teams various cloud databases on AWS. In addition to live production databases, this role will also be supporting the development teams with designing schema, access patterns and other areas of database strategy. Primary areas of focus will be performance tuning and monitoring, cost analysis and management, data security and auditing, access administration and backup & recovery. 5+ years of DBA experience, 5+ on AWS. Work with SMP Lead DBA performing data base design and optimize platforms with primary focus of Postgress, Redshift, Dynamo DB with Oracle as a plus. Perform data base architecture for enterprise systems. Build and Monitor AWS Database Migration Service (DMS). Proficient in SQL, experience with backup and recovery, environment refresh Diagnose and troubleshoot database-related problems, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime Create, maintain, and administer AWS cloud databases in a highly available environment. Proactive tuning and maintenance of database systems for optimal performance Proactive cost analysis and tuning to maximize ROI. Monitoring with CloudWatch to ensure uptime and SLAs. Knowledge of CloudFormation and automation Administration of user access Manage database auditing and security. Ability to work hybrid work schedule (remote & onsite from our Nashville office) Must be authorized to work in the United States 7.5-hour business workday but variations in work volume frequently require extended working hours for evening and late-night events Cloud DBA (AWS) Top Skills Details 1. 5+ Years of DBA experience, as well as 5+ years of on AWS 2. primary focus / experience of supporting & monitoring applications in Postgres, Redshift, Dynamo DB with Oracle as a plus 3. Experience Build and Monitoring AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) Drug Test Required State of the art new office fully curated to fit the music industry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with CRM/Finance/Accounting systems a plus. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and concepts such as Agile, SAFE, scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps. Knowledge of coding best practices such as CI/CD, Cloud Security, DevOps. Knowledge on ETL solutions such as Glue & Lambda functions.
