Local candidates are preferred and may work a hybrid schedule. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY: Leadership and Team Management o Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. o Allocate resources, define team goals, and monitor performance metrics. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes into the development pipeline. Quality Assurance Strategy o Define and implement QA strategies, policies, and best practices to ensure product reliability. o Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. o Oversee functional, performance, security, and regression testing activities. Automation and Tools o Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks. o Identify, implement, and manage QA tools to streamline testing efforts. o Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback. Testing and Process Optimization o Independently conduct device testing and validate features for production deployments. o Collaborate on device integration testing with team members. o Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and product reliability. Reporting and Continuous Improvement o Monitor, track, and promptly resolve QA issues and bugs. o Provide regular updates on QA progress, risks, and product quality to leadership. o Stay current with industry trends and integrate innovative QA methodologies. Qualifications KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Leadership and Team Management Quality Assurance Strategy Automation and Tools Testing and Process Optimization Reporting and Continuous Improvement EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience in software QA hands-on testing; manual and automation, with at least 3+ years in a lead role. 5+ years of strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices. 5+ years of experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright. 5+ years experience working on testing cloud applications hosted as AWS or Azure. 5+ years of experience in working in agile development framework. 3+ years of experience in source code management tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOps. 3+ years of exp in tools like VS code, Workbench, postman, swagger UI, Chrome developer tools, JMeter. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts. Ability to think critically and independently to make informed decisions. WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Normal office work environment.
