Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to advance your career in tax reporting Our Partner is looking for a Tax Reporting and Compliance Analyst to support our growing team in Houston, TX. This role is perfect for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about financial compliance and reporting. What You'll Do: Prepare quarterly and annual tax reports for Mortgage-Backed Securities (REMICs) and other Asset-Backed Securities. Assist in quality control of tax reporting conversions as needed. Gather data and documentation to ensure compliance with state and national tax regulations. Perform tax calculations for internal and external clients, including liabilities, withholdings, and other tax-related metrics. Respond to client inquiries and assist with investor-related tax and regulatory questions. Work collaboratively with the team to meet critical deadlines and drive operational efficiency. What We're Looking For: Required Skills & Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. Familiarity with finance concepts and reporting structures. Preferred Skills & Experience: Tax reporting experience within financial services. Background in accounting or finance. Knowledge of Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) and other structured finance products.
