Must have excellent communication skills 12+ month contract with possibility for extension Administer and manage SQL Server databases to ensure high performance, availability, and security, while creating SSRS reports based on end user specifications. Additionally, perform regular database backups, recovery, and performance tuning to optimize system functionality. Minimum Qualifications: Expert in SQL Server Database Administration (DBA), including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting. Advance experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and designing and developing reports Experience with Data Replication; design, configuration, implementation, and monitoring. Experience with SQL scripting and query optimization to support high-volume data operations. Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and managing SQL Server databases, ensuring their high performance, availability, and security. This role involves creating SSRS reports, performing regular backups and recovery, and optimizing system functionality. The SQL DBA will also troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, document and enforce database standards, and collaborate with development teams to implement best practices. Responsibilities: Administer and manage SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security. Create SSRS reports in coordination with end user specifications. Perform regular database backups, recovery, and performance tuning to optimize system functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and provide support to business users. Implement database encryption, including TDE and TLS. Document and enforce database standards, procedures, and security policies. Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices in database management and integration. Required Skills: Expertise in SQL Server Database Administration (DBA), including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting. Advanced experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and designing and developing reports. Experience with data replication, including design, configuration, implementation, and monitoring. Proficiency in SQL scripting and query optimization to support high-volume data operations. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with automation tools and database monitoring solutions. Knowledge of DevOps practices.
