Develop, implement, and maintain purchasing strategies aligned with business requirements. Ensure accurate and timely creation of purchase orders, manage order confirmations, and coordinate with suppliers. Monitor and report on supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, and pricing. SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management): Integrate SAP Purchasing with other supply chain processes (e.g., inventory management, logistics, and demand planning). Leverage SAP SCM modules to optimize procurement workflows and supply chain efficiencies. Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries and manage the movement of goods across various supply chain stages. Analyze and monitor inventory levels to ensure materials are procured efficiently and cost-effectively, minimizing stockouts or overstocking. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA with a focus on SAP Materials Management (MM) and SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP Purchasing or a similar procurement role within a supply chain environment. In-depth understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain operations. Proficiency in SAP Purchasing (MM) transactions such as PR (Purchase Requisition), PO (Purchase Order), and GR (Goods Receipt). Experience in managing procurement budgets and achieving cost-saving objectives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in SAP Purchasing or SAP Supply Chain Management.
