Job Title: Java Developer Location: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months Job Description Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. Implement microservices architecture to enhance system modularity and maintainability. API Development: Create and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between frontend and backend systems. Ensure APIs are well-documented and adhere to best practices for security and performance. Problem Solving: Analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions using strong problem-solving skills. Utilize data structures and algorithms to optimize application performance and efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and share knowledge with team members. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for backend services, APIs, and system architecture. Document processes and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas and queries, with a focus on NoSQL databases when applicable. Ensure data integrity and performance through effective database management practices. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to backend development. Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing systems and processes. Qualifications: Must Have: Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Strong experience in developing REST APIs. Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. Good to Have: Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React. Experience with NoSQL databases. Strong documentation skills. Personal Attributes: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
