We seek skilled Python Developers to join our team on a 3-month contract basis, with the potential for extensions. In this role, you will build large-scale data processing pipelines and support machine learning algorithm development. The ideal candidate will possess experience in data analysis, working with SQL databases, and developing APIs, particularly in a health plan environment with CMS Data Files and Risk Adjustment. What You Will Do: Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing pipelines to support machine learning algorithm development. Conduct code reviews, ensure high code quality, and identify areas for improvement by implementing practical solutions. Debug and troubleshoot Python-related queries as needed. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in Python development. Design and develop APIs using Redshift. Build and maintain scalable, high-performance systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and launch new features. Optimize applications for efficient performance and smooth operation. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices. What You Will Bring: 5+ years' experience in Python and Python development. 2-5+ years' experience working with GCP and Looker. Experience with data analysis on large datasets. 5+ years' experience with health plan environments, particularly CMS Data Files and Risk Adjustment. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with SQL databases. Domain knowledge of market data and reference data. Experience with source control systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to communicate risks associated with task deadlines. Experience designing and developing APIs using Redshift. Ability to stay up to date with new technologies and methodologies.
