Role: Test Program Manager Location: Atlanta, GA - Onsite Duration: Contract Job Description: Program Governance and Oversight: Establish and enforce governance processes for all testing projects within the portfolio. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of testing initiatives. Ensure consistency in testing standards, methodologies, and practices across projects. Manage risk, compliance, and audit requirements related to testing activities. Portfolio Management: Oversee multiple testing projects and ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate resource allocation across projects to optimize productivity and efficiency. Identify interdependencies among projects and resolve conflicts to ensure smooth execution. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and QA teams. Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management. Facilitate communication and collaboration between testing teams and other stakeholders. Quality Assurance Leadership: Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Ensure all projects meet quality standards and deliverables are aligned with business expectations. Support teams in identifying and addressing critical testing challenges. Reporting and Documentation: Generate comprehensive reports on testing progress, performance metrics, and governance adherence. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of program activities and decisions. Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and best practices. Qualifications and Skills: Mandatory Skills: 8+ years of experience in QA and testing, with at least 3+ years in program or portfolio management. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools. Proven ability to implement and manage governance processes in large-scale programs. Experience with risk management and compliance in testing environments. Proficiency in using project management tools like JIRA, qTest, or similar. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in creating dashboards (execution, defect) Experience in creating Metrics Experience with Power BI Preferred Skills: Understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. Experience in managing geographically distributed teams. Familiarity with automation testing practices and tools (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins, RestAssured). Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus. Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on quality and governance.
