Role: .NET Solutions Architect Location: Lansing, MI(Hybrid) - Interviews: Interviews will be held onsite at 101 E Hillsdale St., Lansing, MI 48933. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview. - Duration: 1 year with extension likely - Position location: 101 E Hillsdale St., Lottery Building 2nd Floor, Lansing, MI. Will need to be onsite starting day 1 for hybrid work schedule which is onsite 2 days a week. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. - Local candidates only. Please do not submit candidates who will need to relocate. Top Skills & Years of Experience Required: - Experience with .NET Core - Web Services connecting to Oracle and SQL Server - Familiar with VB6 and .NET Windows Form applications/code - Communication Ability to present/speak to non-technical staff including executive leadership Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 5+ years of overall experience in the field Proven experience as an IT Application Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar role in large- scale software development projects. Expertise in .NET for building modern web and enterprise applications. Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core for database interaction and optimization. Experience with JSON Serialization for efficient data serialization and deserialization. Expertise in designing and implementing Web Services (RESTful APIs, SOAP) for system integration. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross- functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience in Agile development methodologies.
