This role involves collaboration with internal teams to enhance data architecture and system efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Analyze the existing HAL system environment, including data models, schemas, and ETL processes. Work with project teams to determine business/technical requirements and document detailed system, data, and integration requirements. Redesign and develop ETL processes using SQL, replacing legacy SAS codes. Collaborate with data management staff and data owners to ensure effective communication and project alignment. Test and implement new ETL codes in test and production environments. Background and Scope: HAL is a critical analytical and reporting environment managed by the Medicaid Analytics and Data Integration (MADI) Unit. It supports financial analyses and data visualization products by housing Medicaid enrolment and claims data. Required Skills and Experience: Proficient in SQL programming and advanced data analysis. Experience with Microsoft DevOps or similar code management tools. Familiarity with SAS data management is preferred. Qualifications: Professional experience in Information Technology or a closely related field. Accredited college or graduate training in Information Technology may substitute for some work experience. Certifications in IT or related fields can substitute for some required experiences. Prior experience as an Application Systems Analyst or Developer is beneficial.
