Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite from day 1) Local to NV with DL or near by states like Utah, AZ etc Contract Duration: 6+ months with high possibility of extension Experience: 10 or 10 + years REQUIRED: Roles and responsibilities: Must have 10+ years IT background 5+ years of Cloud infrastructure and engineering experience, including virtualization, cloud, server, storage, and networking (i.e: EKS, Openstack, Kubertenes, dockers, etc.) VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS, s3these 5 services are corethey need these skills Strong experience in EKS (3 to 5 years) Experience in supporting cloud-based applications environments with distributed enterprise systems and developing implementation standards Knowledge of DevOps, SDLC, containers, microservices and APIs design Knowledge of Terraform and GitLab Knowledge of cloud Computing, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS Knowledge of cloud orchestration and monitoring technology Experience in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, ITSM, IT operations and programming skills is a plus Nice to Have: Development experience working on scripting language (JavaScript) Knowledge of working with JavaScript framework like ReactJS What they Require: Someone who is strong in both the infrastructure and the code (writes the Terraform and knows how to automate). AWS EKS is required and IMPORTANT! 90% of their infrastructure is EKS. They dont want to spend time to train someone on this piece or even the coding or infrastructure pieces.
