[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Data Engineer CDP Location: NYC THE ROLE: Data Engineer, Customer Data Platform (CDP) A+E Networks is seeking a Data Engineer, Customer Data Platform (CDP) to join our Product & Technology Team to enhance A+Es overall audience strategy. This person will be responsible for supporting the customization, development and management of the CDP, including data cleaning and quality assurance, documentation, and data integrations. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Data Analytics & Integrations, the CDP Engineer will assist with troubleshooting and ensuring that the CDP is utilized as effectively as possible. This position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in delivering personalized customer experience in a dynamic media environment where digital content is the backbone of our operations. MORE ABOUT WHAT YOULL DO: Data Engineer, Customer Data Platform (CDP) PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT & MAINTENANCE Support the customization, development, and management of the CDP to facilitate seamless data collection, integration, deduping, and segmentation across multiple channels Maintain platform pipeline of real-time data activation to enhance customer engagement and personalization strategies Ensure data quality by implementing validation and data cleaning procedures Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to CDP data pipelines Integrate internal and third-party data sources, ensuring accurate, scalable data flows Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues, minimizing disruption Execute CDP product roadmap as established by our partners in Ad Sales, Marketing, Research, and Digital. TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION Provide regular project status updates your business partners. Coordinate with data privacy team members to ensure compliance with regulations Assist with training and enabling cross-functional teams, including ad sales and editorial teams, on the CDPs functionalities Measure and communicate platform performance, ensuring that the CDP is meeting KPIs for data accuracy, segmentation, and usability Stay updated on industry trends in CDP technologies, data integration, and customer experience optimization What Youll Learn Gain exposure to A+Es strategic approach to digital content and insight into the interplay between technology and content production Receive mentorship, training, and support from managers Experience firsthand how large-scale digital operations function within a leading media organization Contribute to shaping content that impacts and resonates with diverse, global audiences YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have) Data Engineer, Customer Data Platform (CDP) Qualifications Strong data engineering skill set with a minimum 3 years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on customer data platforms Experience working with CDPs such as Segment, Hightouch, or Rudderstack.
