Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to evaluate our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and integration systems and provide a strategic recommendation on the best integration platform for our business. This role involves a comprehensive assessment of existing workflows, identification of opportunities for improvement, and guidance on selecting a scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solution for enterprise integration. Key Responsibilities: System Evaluation & Strategy: Conduct a detailed assessment of the companys EDI and integration architecture, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization. Integration Platform Recommendation: Analyze leading integration platforms (e.g., Jitterbit, Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato) and provide a data-driven recommendation based on business needs, scalability, and industry best practices. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, business leadership, and external partners to understand integration requirements and future scalability needs. Architecture Development: Define an integration strategy and roadmap to support seamless data exchange and automation across enterprise systems. Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in IT and EDI processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all integration solutions align with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain clear documentation of system assessments, proposed solutions, and implementation plans to support decision-making and future execution. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture, EDI integration, and system evaluation. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of EDI standards, data integration, APIs, and middleware platforms. Experience with Jitterbit, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar platforms is a plus. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess complex IT landscapes and provide clear, strategic recommendations.
