Requirements : Design, implement, and administer ServiceNow Discovery to ensure accurate and automated CMDB population. THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE DONE THIS IMPLEMENTATION IN THE PAST, OF THE SERVICENOW DISCOVERY FEATURE. This piece is absolutely required. Manage discovery schedules and optimize data collection for improved system visibility. Collaborate with IT teams to maintain infrastructure visibility across on-premises and cloud environments. Support IT Asset Management (ITAM) by ensuring asset data integrity, lifecycle tracking, and compliance with organizational standards. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, ITAM and CMDB administration. Strong knowledge of Service ITAM. Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Power, or Python) for customizing discovery patterns. Understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and cloud platforms. Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management and asset reconciliation processes Familiarity with network protocols, authentication methods, and access controls. Ability to analyze complex data and resolve data quality issues. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
