Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve system errors, and implement fixes to maintain the integrity of financial data. Work closely with the finance and IT teams to configure and customize Frontier based on specific business needs and requirements. Ensure the smooth integration of General Ledger (GL) reconciliation systems with Frontier, optimizing workflows and improving data accuracy. Conduct system upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to the reconciliation process. Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure the timely resolution of issues related to integrations, data flow, and security. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Identify opportunities to enhance system performance, scalability, and security. Assist in testing and validating new features, patches, and system changes to ensure proper functionality. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical expertise in Frontier Reconciliation (formerly FIS FIN Tech), including configuration, troubleshooting, and system support. Strong experience in General Ledger (GL) reconciliation systems from a technical integration perspective. Proficient in SQL, data integration, and data analysis for financial applications. Strong understanding of financial systems architecture, including backend processes and data flow. Experience with system integration and ensuring data consistency across multiple platforms. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with financial software. Familiarity with financial reporting systems and integration points between systems. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Experience with Workday or similar financial management systems, especially in integrating financial applications. Familiarity with financial data security protocols and best practices. Experience with automation tools for reconciliation processes and system workflows. Experience in cloud-based financial applications and understanding their architecture. Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or other scripting languages for process automation. Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in an IT role supporting financial systems, particularly in reconciliation and general ledger applications.
