We have an immediate opening for the below position with one of our premium clients. Role : Kubernetes engineer. Location : US (any location) Duration: Long Term Job Summary: We are seeking a 8 -10 Years skilled Kubernetes Engineer to design, implement, and manage container orchestration platforms to support our cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Kubernetes, containerization technologies (Docker), and cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability of applications. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in cloud and on-premises environments. Experience in RHEL is a must and Cisco UCS HW is optional Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Implement CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes integrations for seamless software delivery. Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. Ensure security best practices in Kubernetes configurations, networking, and access controls. Work with development teams to containerize applications and enhance microservices architecture. Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions for Kubernetes workloads. Stay updated with Kubernetes ecosystem advancements and recommend best practices. Requirements: Strong experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters. Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker. Experience with on board infrastructure and Kubernetes managed services (EKS, AKS, GKE). Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitOps workflows. Experience with Helm, Istio, or other Kubernetes-related tools. Familiarity with Linux servers, with system administrator experience. Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools ( Ansible). Strong understanding of networking, security, and observability in Kubernetes environments. Scripting experience in Bash, Python. Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator ( CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer ( CKAD). Experience with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) and Kubernetes security tools. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes Operators and CRDs.
