Experience with IBMs file structure(s): (i.e. HFS, ZFS, and PDSs), TSO, and DFSMS. Experience with IBM DS89xx disk subsystems including day to day operations, replication, flash copies and immutable staging using tools like Copy Service Manager (CSM) and others. Experience with networking technologies that support the mainframe, i.e. Ethernet, FICON etc. Experience with z/OS virtualization including zLinux installation and maintenance. Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a fast-paced environment. Experience with various backup solutions and strategies. Ability to develop, teach and mentor other members of the team. Strong time-management and prioritization skills. Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred Experience with virtual tape systems including Luminex. Experience with AIX. Knowledge of LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN technologies. Experience with storage area networks. In depth knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
