The ideal candidate will have strong SQL development skills, experience with Azure SQL Database, Synapse, Data Factory, and a solid understanding of ETL, data modeling, and performance tuning. Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in SQL development, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization. Strong experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory (ADF). Experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and cloud-based data solutions. Proficiency in performance tuning, indexing strategies, and troubleshooting slow queries. Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, or Power BI (preferred). Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git for database deployments. Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and best practices in cloud environments. Experience with Python, Power, or other scripting languages for automation is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate). Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB), Databricks, or machine learning models is a plus. Experience in data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
