Years of Experience: 10+ years applicable experience required Function of the Group: Design systems team- focused on creating the design system that feeds into the component library for developers to use. Consistency and efficiency are the primary goals of this team. Initiatives/Projects: Work tracking in Jira for busy design team Attending and participating in all design sprint ceremonies Working with team as they upgrade design documentation platform Leading and enabling the evolution of design system processes for Figma and other tools Work tracking in Jira for busy design team Attending and participating in all design sprint ceremonies Working with team as they upgrade design documentation platform Leading and enabling the evolution of design system processes for Figma and other tools Team Dynamic: Will be assisting 7 designers, 1 Des Team Product Owner Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure that UX/UI design activities are prioritized, planned, and streamlined from concepting through design iteration and technical development. Facilitate the interaction between the design team and other functions such as product management, design, and technology. Leverage your design thinking skills to enable definition of future solutions including the product vision and future state goals Research, document and communicate the competitive landscape to support design decisions for enabling new and existing features and capabilities. Create project and/or tracking documents including project plans, work-back schedules, and meeting notes. Effectively organize and prioritize complex information so it's clear and can be acted upon. Keep the team and key partners in the organization up to date as design progresses Lead multiple workflows and deliver projects on expedited timelines; help set expectations for the team while keeping all ongoing tasks on track. Coordinate and facilitate design handoffs including reviewing deliverables to ensure all requirements have been met. Work with partners to contribute to roadmaps and strategies for enhancements to the digital experience Use knowledge of customer and employee journeys to influence ideas and creative executions. Must Have Technical Skills: (Min 8years of exp in below required skills) Figma 8 yrs Understanding design requirements and translating them into Jira stories - 4 yrs Agile - 5 yrs (Workfront/ asana) 4 yrs PowerPoint Easy BI- reporting tools UX/UI Design - 8 yrs Design certifications would be nice to have (bootcamp etc) Screening Questions: How have you interfaced with a design team before Have you been in an environment with design system or design ops processes Describe a time you have listened to competing priorities and placed them on a roadmap Summary: The main function is to maximize the value of products created by the scrum development team. A typical product owner will streamline the lifecycle of the product through managing the product backlog. Job Responsibilities: Analyze and breakdown market problems into prioritized, deliverable stories. Manage multiple features at once and ensure work gets delivered in prioritized order. Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. Work closely with development teams to deliver stories that add customer value at a regular cadence. Be involved with all phases of development (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment). Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage ones time. Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
